Blackrock Rally Sport takes its second win in the 2008 NASA Rally Spec Focus Championship.

The first half of the 2008 has been our most successful to date. Coming off class wins at Sandblast, Rally New York, and Rally Tennessee, the team advances its positions in the following classes:

1st place in NASA Rally Spec Focus
1st place in USRC Production class
2nd place in USRC 2WD drive overall
1st place Rally New York 2WD Production

With three major events left in the season, the team turns its attention to getting back on the gravel for Rally West Virginia. RWV will consist of Friday and Saturday stages, in the same areas around Elkins as in 2007. This gives a total event stage mileage of approximately 92 miles. All of the roads continue in the same vein as the now famous Randolph County rally roads. These roads challenge the team each and every second to pick the right lines and adjust for constantly changing road width, surface, and character. No two turns are the same, and the frequency of the turns will keep us constantly engaged and working hard to stay on track. As always, our strategy is to be consistently quick with an aim to finish!

Rally West Virginia takes place in Elkins West Virgina August 1-2, 2008
